Our First Walk is Done – and It Was Wonderful!

Our very first walking group event is done! It was a great day as DBV members laced up their shoes and headed out together last Friday.The group walked along the Yarra River on Friday 10 April, marking the first event of our Healthy Eating and Mindful Movement program.

The feedback from members was wonderful.

Gina: “I really enjoyed the activity. I would have loved a longer walk, maybe for a few hours. I hope we can do some longer walks next time.”

Michael: “I loved walking in the group, I enjoyed the walk and the tactile experience of the sculptures.”

Richard: “I really loved the walk and hope we can do more, maybe once a month. If it doesn’t work because of the weather, maybe a social catch up.”

More events are coming up, including walks at the beach, chair yoga sessions, and healthy eating talks. We will keep you updated as dates are confirmed.
