Hi, my name is Andrew Howard. Today I’m talking about Explore 12. It’s larger than the Explore 8. They both have different coloured backgrounds, and Explore 12 has some additional features. Let’s have a look.
[Andrew sets up the stand for the magnifier on a table]
Once you set it up you slide the paper under here so you can read it. It comes with a carry bag too. It’s a little heavy, so you can put the bag in a trolley with wheels for easier transportation.
[Andrew places the magnifier in the stand, turns it on, and places a sheet of paper underneath]
This middle button changes the colour scheme: black on white, white on black, black on yellow, or yellow on black. You can zoom by placing two fingers on the screen and spreading them apart or pinching them. You can also zoom in and out with the plus and minus zoom buttons.
[Andrew takes the magnifier off the stand for a moment and uses it to take a photo of a desk with documents on it]
You can store the photo and zoom in later to see the details, using the touch screen or the zoom buttons. That’s helpful for reading food labels and reading and writing other things, like PDF documents. I’ll close the camera app now.
There is a USB port here on the side for charging or connecting to a computer, where you can manage your photos to save or delete them. And here is the power button to turn it off or on. That’s all!
