On 19th June, Deafblind Victoria in partnership with Able Australia ran Deafblind Awareness Training session for Deaf Children Australia staff. Trainers were Heather Lawson, Joe Monteleone and Meredith Prain. The session started with the Deafblind world activity. Topics covered included impact of deafblindness, communication and technology.
We got a lot of very positive feedback. Some participants came up to us to say how much they enjoyed it. Great work team!
